Why mommy? Someone asked that question to one of my bestfriends last december.. he was wondering why everyone seems to call me that. Well it got me thinking..after 12 years..y the hell is everybody calling me mommy??? Hihi I mean well it started as a joke in the barkada..but after 12 years men,like even the college classmates of my barkada calls me mommy and even the moms of my friends call me that. Kinda weird really,tita josie (min2s mom) call me momy kendi everytime i visit her in BIR..hihi In high school, there were other versions of that,calai and lou calls me mamardz,caryll calls me mamu and i forgot what charmaine padla and maureen calls me,basta its another motherly endearment. Hahaha am I really that motherly in their eyes??? Shucks! And oh not to mention the boys of my barkada (that includes the past, present and the future) who of course calls me mommy! Hay naku,mga sipsip gud tawon! There was one time we were in a boutique my partner in crime kakang calls me MAMA in front of the salesladies and boy they were all looking at me wondering huh mama niya? we went out laughing coz these people were looking at me with prying eyes(unsa kaha cya edad na buros)hahahaha..Going back to the scene..Well one of my barkada answered the guy who blurted that question (wonder who Im referring to? hihi) she said well shes mommy coz she takes care of everyone. Aaaaw,na touch ko hihi really? i mean if thats the case,i would love to be called mommy for the rest of my life hihi drama! I just love taking care and being there for my girls. Evreytime they need someone to talk to, if they want my opinions on things.. if they need to share a secret ..talking sense into them and being their konsencya (safeguard) hehe..and u know laughing with them while reminiscing our escapades..analyzing shout outs and reconstructing them hihi..comparing sizes and shapes hahaha..getting drunk on Valentines day till we get heart palpitations..going to "caves" (!?!?) together hahaha(dli ko magsaba kinsa ako giubanan ha,chaperon lang tawon ko,yaya tigtrapo sa singot haha)…visualizing and praying for a miracle (remember sa site nut hihi)..secret YM conferences (nanlibak)..crying over spilled milk (naks)..recognizing a true player from a fake one (kani maayo kaayo ko ani haha victim baya pirminti haha)..keeping their secret list of victims dba kang (this is my hardest role so far bai)..Hihihi etc etc etc So being a mommy is not bad after all..its priceless…
